I laugh in the face of normal

About

I’m a writer and a poet and I also have a normal job in which I try to inject a bit of madness when no one is looking!  This blog was started after my marriage ended and I suddenly became really happy.  It won’t be a depressing blog, or a rant about how horrible men are – it’s an honest attempt to laugh at myself and life around me and share some of that joy at just being a crazy speck of dust in a wonderful universe with others.

Take a look at my other blogsites on Word press – http://www.writingsinmyblood.wordpress.com – my shorts stories and poems, http://www.tallulahfruitbat.wordpress.com about my world and http://www.rainbowfallhealing.wordpress.com

I’m a crazy lady, who loves to write and loves to experience life to the full. Life is for laughing about the mad things that happen and there are plenty of them.

Heh – love your voice. Life’s to short not to laugh at it, carry on, I’ll follow you.

Thank you, that’s fabulous. I’ll keep going; it’s too much of a funny world not to.

I was married for 15 years and a father of two when I got divorced six years ago. Having a weekly humor column got me through it, along with my kids. I remember that feeling of being really happy for the first time in many years. I’ve been re-married now for four years and have that feeling every day. Keeping a perspective on the funny things in life not only gets you through it, but makes life that much better. I think it slows the aging process, too. When I was married the first time, I felt 90; today, I feel 30 (even though I’m 46). Cheers!
